A classic Victorian beauty fell into disrepair but new owners gutted the home while preserving and paying homage to this classic architectural style. We arrived at a messy construction site, where heavy equipment seriously compacted the soil. We went to work reconditioning the soil before installing their new lawn, foundation gardens and flower borders. This step is important to ensure the new plantings' roots have enough air and drainage to grow properly.
A new permeable gravel driveway was installed with Belgian block edging and apron. Colorful cottage-style gardens filled with native and adapted plants line the picket fence. Evergreens are strategically placed for privacy.
