Whether your property is residential or commercial, we have what it takes to bring your landscape design to life.

We specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining:

  • Rock and perennial gardens

  • Rain gardens and other drainage solutions

  • Waterfalls, streams, and ponds

  • Stone work, carpentry, and masonry for patios, outdoor kitchens, driveways, steps, and walkways

Please note: we do not have an in-house team of stoneworkers, carpenters, and masons; however, we work with trusted contractors to bring our designs to fruition. Please see Phase 3 of the “Lazy Gardener Process” below for more info.

THE LAZY GARDENER PROCESS

From the first consultation to the final planting, our proven landscape design process will transform your outdoor space into a lively, easy-to-maintain oasis.

PHASE 1: CONSULTATION ($200/hr)

You deserve a garden that you’ll love – one that’s both beautiful and functional. That’s why we spend an hour learning about your property, priorities, and preferences in our initial consultation. Once we’ve identified your unique design needs, we’ll brainstorm creative ideas and solutions together.

PHASE 2: design

Before we put pen to paper, we like to learn more about your style preferences. To do this, our team will create a property plan for you, which includes:

  • An ideabook on Houzz or Pinterest, which serves as both a source of design inspiration and a means to further gauge your likes and dislikes.

  • A photo-realistic image of what your main garden areas will look like after the installation.

  • A low-maintenance plant list (with photos).

  • A master landscape planting plan, which helps us generate an accurate estimate for the entire project.

PHASE 3: INSTALLATION*

Once the property plan is approved, we become a one-stop resource for you, coordinating all aspects of the project, including plant procurement & installation, masonry, and carpentry. While we work with a cohort of trusted contractors, we’re also happy to work with your preferred contractors to get the job done.

*Most installations are seasonal, but some can happen all-year-round, like pond installations.

PHASE 4: PRUNING & SPECIALTY MAINTENANCE ($145/hr)*

Following installation, your garden may not need care for years to come. But when the time comes, we can handle your speciality landscape maintenance needs. Unlike your typical “mow and blow” landscape crew, we’ll never use toxic herbicides or shape your shrubs into unnatural-looking balls or squares. Instead, we’ll hand-prune and -weed your garden to keep it looking neat, natural, and healthy.

*Only offered from May-October. Most properties require between 1-2 hours of pruning and weeding services each month.
